Rajeevan Thachompoyil was a great writer, poet and publisher from Kerala, India. He was a brilliant person and kind, loving friend. I met him in 2004 in Iowa, where we used to go to library, shopping mall and to sing Indian songs together. He invited Salomat Vafo Xorazmiya and me to Kerala International Literature Festival, where we enjoyed life and creativity. I will miss him a lot. My sincere prayers are with him. Deepest condolences to his beautiful family and loved ones. Our friends actually do not go far, we will just meet them later.
