Jamol Kamol and Anvarmirzo Husainov

A very beatiful friendship turned into more than 15 years of literary cooperation between the Uzbek poet JAMOL KAMOL, whom we lost yesterday, and Anvarmirzo Husainov, a brlliant person with big heart and energy. It was him who encouraged the poet to write poems and translate world classics, including Shakespeare, Rumi, Bedil, Attar, into Uzbek. They also worked together on the first-ever poetic translation of Holy Koran in Uzbek.
