You’re Invited! Delphics Literature and Music Festival – A Global Tribute to legendary Greek Poet Pindar and the Delphic Spirit!
You are invited to the Delphics Literature and Music Festival, hosted by Delphics Uzbekistan, with support from Delphics India and endorsement by the International Delphic Council; a global arts‑focused umbrella body inspired by the ancient Delphic ideals of harmony and cultural exchange.
This festival is a vibrant literary and music celebration that brings together poets, writers, storytellers, vocalists, and musicians from Uzbekistan, India, Germany, Nigeria, Malaysia, and Singapore, showcasing rich traditions and fostering cross‑cultural dialogue through the arts.
It is a tribute to Pindar, the legendary Greek lyric poet from Thebes, whose choral victory odes at the Pythian and other Panhellenic games fused athletic triumph with spiritual reflection; embodying the Delphic ideal of human excellence achieved through effort and inspiration.
As part of the broader movement led by the International Delphic Council (IDC, founded 1994), this festival continues the vision of global arts festivals and Delphic games as a “common floor” for cultures, reconnecting today’s artistic expression with ancient Delphic heritage.
Saturday, 16th May 2026; 17:00 Tashkent Time (12:00 UTC – Coordinated Universal Time) and corresponding times in your country. It is free for everyone on Zoom and Youtube.
