A Poem Dedicated to Myself

I waited for you madly until dawn,
Despite I felt certain of your absence,
Till daybreak I could not weep or mourn,
Up in the air still the snowy essence.

I tailored all the night my own soul,
One can see it has a thousand patches,
Hurry up, says Slumber, takes control,
Forcing me to close eyes it latches.

As you see I just have washed my heart,
And I am leaving, you stay always well.
If you enter my sweet dream, be smart,
Do not forget to wipe your feet, my belle.
